UFC 3-600-01 dated 6 May 2021 Section 9-7.6.3 is pretty clear about the Air 
Force allowing the use of CPVC. 

Other than that I think you're stuck with Schedule 10/40. Section 9-7.6.2.

No galvanized unless it's a deluge system.

Having sprinkler contractors reprice an Air Force housing project we are 
working on. The RFP is a steel only job (tried to get approval for CPVC but no 
go). What are you seeing for materials that provide some cost control... Sch 7,
