As I read this section. it says that your deflector can be no more than
1" below the bottom of the concrete tee. If it is above the bottom of
the tee, than it must comply with the beam rule. If the sprinkler is
_<_ 12" away than it can be set at 0" above the tee, if it is 1' to <18"
than it can be no more than 2-1/2" above the tee, and etc....

I am getting caught up in semantics with the wording. Would a
concrete beam be interpreted the same as a concrete tee?
Am I allowed to install the deflectors above one-inch below the bottom
of the beam in accordance with Table 8.6.5.1.2 as I would be if they
were concrete tees, or will pocket protection be required?
