My Design Area is 1200 SqFt. - Two Questions I'm working out of I have mechanical platforms (600 SqFt each) with duct exceeding 48" extending from the platforms. Bottom of Duct is similar elevation to mechanical platforms.
1. Are supplemental design area beneath obstructions, separate from overhead design area, to be limited to the platform area, or to include additional under duct sprinklers to achieve design area of 1200 SqFt? 2.
