The purpose of this guide is to serve as a useful tool for the designer (or estimator) of fire sprinkler systems. It should allow a designer to quickly compare the various sprinklers that are available by their "K" factor, area of coverage, and minimum pressure requirements. After selecting the sprinkler, the designer will have to consult the manufacturer's data sheet for the selected sprinkler to obtain the latest installation and design requirements. The information contained in this guide is a supplement to the manufacturer's data sheets. The guide is not a replacement for the manufacturer's data sheet. After the document has downloaded and is visible in Safari, tap once on the document. You will see a "Open in..." button appear at the top of the document. Tap the "Open in...." and select iBooks. Open iBooks and the PDF Document should now be in the iBooks Library in the PDF Collection. (tap the "Collections" button to see items in the PDF collection) Special Note: The iPad only allows ten apps to be listed in the "Open in...." button. If you have more than ten apps that can open a PDF document, iBooks may not be listed.
