Hi all I am new to Python and am used to Matlab so I wanted the transition to be as easy as possible. I am struggling with the installation of spyder. I have installed it onto my system and I have also obtained PyQt 4.7.6 but spyder refuses to open with the following error message:
Please check Spyder installation requirement: PyQt v4.4 or higher is required (not found!)
