More details about the tracebacks : I think I saw something related to "scipy.io" submodule (but I'm not sure) I remember I had to change some part of my python scripts where I used some functions of scipy.io that are now removed in scipy 0.8 (fread...). I don't know if there is a link with the issue here.
I removed the scipy 0.8.0-12.1 package and now the external consoles (ipython and python) work properly. But without scipy...
