Hi all, As some of you already know, IPython v0.11 has been released recently and this is a huge step forward as I mentioned on Spyder's blog: http://spyder-ide.blogspot.com/2011/08/ipython-has-taken-huge-step-forward.html
However, it breaks IPython support in Spyder v2.0.12. Preliminary changes were already made in v2.0 and v2.1 repositories to support this new release: * see Spyder's blog for more informations on how to update your Spyder's installation * we may discuss issues related to these changes here: http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/issues/detail?id=727 With these changes, Linux and Mac OS X users should recover a full support of IPython features. However, as I mentioned on Spyder's blog, the combination "IPython v0.11" + "Windows platform" won't be fully supported until the new "IPython plugin" is available (a plugin based on IPython v0.11's Qt- based console). So I recommend to the Windows users to stay with IPython v0.10, if possible. I admit that I was very surprised: I was not expecting IPython v0.11 to be released so soon, hence these compatibility issues.
