Hi all, On the behalf of Spyder's development team, I'm pleased to announce that Spyder v2.1.0beta3 has been released.
This beta release comes only a few days after the last one because it fixes a critical bug introduced in beta2 (which was breaking code instropection features in the source code editor: code completion, go- to-definition, ...). You will also see on the download page that a portable/stand-alone version of Spyder is available. This is still experimental but it should provide a working all-in-one portable version of Spyder for Windows platforms, i.e. it does not require anything to be installed (anything but a Python 2.x interpreter of course...). See the incomplete changelog here: http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/wiki/ChangeLogBeta And don't forget to follow Spyder updates/news on the project website (http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/) and on our official blog (http:// spyder-ide.blogspot.com/).
