How about to add stars to issue list view<http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/issues/list>in the meanwhile? It allows to see what's important for people.
It can be done from the admin page at http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/adminIssues by changing `List and grid preferences` line to: ID Cat Type Status Priority Stars Milestone Owner Summary The sorting order can be adjusted there by stars too. Some ideas to free more horizontal space for issue description: 1. Rename ContributorNeeded status to NeedsHelp 2. Shorten the `Milestone` column name to Mstone and values to just next version to be released (like in Chromium tracker<http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/list> ). 3.
