I really like the Spyder editor. I work a lot with Python and it provides strong features, also for the student who I supervise that do not have an extensive Python knowledge.
One feature I still miss is the automatic renaming of variables (such as implemented in the newer Matlab editors). When a variable is selected, Spyder does recognize different occurrences, but is does not provide a feature to rename all (or a selection) of these occurrences. Thanks!
