Hello. This looks like the issue described here: https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/3489 . Sorry about that. We are still working on fixing it. As a temporary work-around, you can make a small change to Spyder yourself; search for "editing the file mainwindow.py" on the issue page linked above for instructions.
