Backups can be done from the browser or from the command line. $ cd /usr/local/sql-ledger $ ./am.pl "action=backup&login=login_name&password=encrypted_password&path=bin/mozilla" > backup
If you want to send the backup by email to the email account of the user $ ./am.pl "action=backup&login=login_name&password=encrypted_password&path=bin/mozilla&media=email" Make sure the .conf file for "login_name" exists. The .conf file is wiped out when you "Logout". MS workaround! Nothing will happen if the .conf file does not exist, perl will simply return an error.
