I have reinstalled a clean installation of SL 1.8.4 moved it to a new
location and created a new test database using my postgresql superuser.
now when I try to update the existing database I still get the same
error

Error!

   fe_sendauth: no password supplied

However when I try to create a new user for the test database I get an
error from Apache saying the server may be misconfigured. When I check
the Apache error log I find this:

DBI->connect(dbname=mydb;host=www.mysite.com;port=5432) failed:
fe_sendauth: no password supplied at SL/User.pm line 499
Error: <br>fe_sendauth: no password supplied
Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/sql-ledger/admin.pl line 86.

I repeat ANY ideas or suggestions are appreciated.
I have checked the Apache httpd.conf file there are no problems there as
all of my other web based applications still work and the passwords are
correctly recieved. I have Webmin, Phppgadmin and other things that
require passwords for their use.
Thanks!
