He has mirrored the orientation in version 1.8.1 I think, and I thank him for that. I think it was too much trouble to keep two mirrors of the orientation so the mirroring has stopped. It seems that you know Perl, so I have a suggestion. You can look at 1.8.1 source and try to keep an Arabic ( Hebrew and other Bi-Di languages as well) mirror of the most recent code. IE will do some mirroring, you might want to try it out.
