ROP stands for ReOrderPoint Let's say you are selling tires and you always want to have 20 of a particular tire in stock. For that tire you would set the ROP to 20 and SL tells you when you drop below 20 tires and you should reorder this tire. > What is Bin? Bin is used to save in the part description where in your warehouse you store that item Like row 10c shelf 3a or whatever numbering system you use. If you don't keep large quantities in stock you might not need this. > and What is the COGS field used for? > This is for accounting purposes. It tells SL where to put the amount you paid for that part when your are selling it. > > thank you, again, and pardon the newbieness Null problemo.
