When I do that, it requires I enter a part number. If I don't, ir takes me to "Add Part." "Add Part" allows me to enter it into any class of inventory. It doesn't make sense to record my desk, chair or postage-stamps as inventory. I don't sell those things. Assets are a problem, but so are consumables such as paper, envelopes, postage stamps. And services such as freight. How are people recording goods (and services) they buy and which are not for sale? ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ------------------------------------------------------- (un)subscribe: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sql-ledger-users Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
