what ?
the perl is _not_ on your machine, it's only in the server,
and you can't change it unless you are the administrator.

the js _is_ in your machine, and *anybody* can change it to their
liking and upoad the modified page...

is this a big security concern ?
maybe and maybe not, depend on what funcionality you put
in the javascript...
