Hello,

The company I work for is based in Luxembourg and sells computer hardware
and software
and mobile products (SMS, WAP, ...). I think SL would be the ideal solution
for our shop,
so I began to test SL a week ago. Everything went well but since a few days,
SL
does not print my invoices anymore when I select "postscript" and "print".

It returns the following page when I want to print:

---- printing output ---
Status!

Facture 1016 envoy l'imprimante
(translation: Invoice 1016 sent to printer)
----

I think that this is the normal output?

At the beginning everything went well, as I said.

For testing purposes I have replaced the 'lpr' command
in the printer field by 'cat >/tmp/print.ps', but the file is not
created. I have written a small shell script called lprdummy, with the
permissions 777 and placed in /sbin/ and put this program name into
the printer field in the configuration.

--- /sbin/dummylpr.pl ---
#!/bin/sh

cat >/tmp/print.ps
---

The file /tmp/print.ps is not created.

So I have commented in the sql-ledger/SL/form.pl in the sub parse_template
the last line
($self->cleanup;). The temporary files are created and if I run lpr with the
temporary
postscript file, it is printed...

Version info:

SuSE Linux 8.0
PostGreSQL 7.2
SQL Ledger Version 1.8.7
Apache/1.3.23 (Unix), Server build: Mar 26 2002 15:29:08
LPRng-3.8.5
TeX (Web2C 7.3.7) 3.14159, kpathsea version 3.3.7

Can anybody help me, please? Thank you very much.

By the way: Has anybody considered creating an accounting chart for
Luxembourg? I guess
the best solution would be to begin with the French one?
