The proposed disassembly feature will work the same as splitting lots and you have to know the individual item beforehand.
What you want is a reclassification. The fact that the whole might consist of different grades has to be known beforehand. Anything else is a matter of adjustments and moving quantities from one lot to another. Since there are no restrictions imposed on inventory levels you can sell different grades and reclassify the purchase to match after the whole lot has been sold.
