In a normalized DB this is true, but who is to say that this DB is
normalized? If the table has duplicate records (which would mean PKs are
not being enforced or are not in place) then you will not get every record
with
SELECT DISTINCT
*
FROM
TABLE
-dhs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
