It seems you could address this either in the database or in the app server
before passing the formfield value into the query. Which app server are you
using? CF? ASP? JSP? PHP? Perl? ...

I am querying a table for a column of datetime writing it to a formfield and
on a form submission requerying the same data to see if the value in the
formfield matches.

When I do this query they never match because the millisecond part of the
datetime value in the formfield seems to have been removed. Is there a way
to stop this ?
