Well, I don't know if this will help you or not, but in JSP, JDBC Urls
usually begin with "jdbc:subprotocol:subname" the sample connection to an
Oracle database would be:
connection =
DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:oracle:thin:dbhost:1548:ORCL", "user",
"password");

We have multiple instances of SQL ( 7.0 and 2000 ) running with MX and
can no longer connect to the secondary 2000 instance. In CF 5.0 I simply
put the instance name on the end of the IP as follows:

Since MX is JDBC, this no longer works. Any suggestions?
