The SQL server (db server) is down. Restart the server and everything
should work fine. If this is happening every day see if the DB server is
archiving its log files daily (it may be set up to shut down when archiving
the logs). If this is the problem you will need to see if your DBA can
change this setting. In SQL server you can archive the logs with out
shutting the server down.

hope this helps you out.
William

Hi all,

Sorry for the double post here.

I'm hoping someone in here haave an idea of what could have caused this
error. I'm trying

Error Diagnostic Information

ODBC Error Code = 08001 (Unable to connect to data source)

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not
exist
or access denied.

The error occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of

(CFQUERY), occupying document position (74:2) to (74:51).

This error only occurs once or twice a day for about 5 minutes, then it
works again.

Thanks

Thanh Nguyen
