Yeah, that's what I did.  

It'd been working fine until 2 week ago. 
No changes were made.

Try setting up the ODBC connection with the Windows
Data Sources control panel first.  If you get a good
connection there, then it should with within the CF
Administrator.

Use the SQL Client Configuration Utility to make sure
you're using the correct network protocol and IP
address.
