Thanks for that everyone.  It doesn't make a lot of difference, what MS
decide is final, but does anyone know why they wont allow that?

The question was regarding the web edition of server 2003. That version will
not allow SQL to install. To run SQL you need the standard, enterprise, or
datacenter (if you can afford it) editions.
