I have a simular problem. cf4.5.1 sp2 .. sql 2000 host... Tried various mdac's and insert's work every time. Update doesn't. Profiler copy and paste into query analyzer query exec updates record just fine. No error occurs at any point with cf , ie and sql.. just will not update the record...
