It's been my experience that you need to be logged in with the same
administrator account that runs the MSSQLServer & SQLAGENT services when you
create your DTS package, or the scheduled job won't handshake correctly.

Subject: DTS Package Ownership

I have a DTS package that I "scheduled", there by creating a JOB to execute
the DTS. The DTS package takes a Excel CSV file and sticks the data into a
database table. The CSV is on my web server which is separate from the
database server. I set the DTS package up using UNC path to the CSV file
{\\myWebServer\driveShare\files\xyz.csv}. I made sure the JOB owner is the
domain administrator, which is the same on both the WEB and DB server...

I can execute the DTS successfully but when I try to execute the JOB it
tells me that Access is denied to the flat file...

Why is that? Did I miss something?

HELP!
Brad
