Hi, I'm sorry that I am reposting this question again but I felt I didn't explain myself well enough before. I am looking for a way to re-create existing schemas in an Oracle database (9i and 10G)....not just create a back up. These re-created schemas needs to have all associated properties; tables, sequences, triggers, data, etc. The Oracle tool IMP/EXP appears to only put the selected tables into binary format which are used exclusively for backup purposes. I very well may be wrong in assuming that but from what I've read so far indicates that. If I am wrong, does anyone know where I can find step by step "explain it like I'm a four year old" instructions that will explain using IMP/EXP? Thanks again.
