I have a question regarding SQL Server licensing. My company is getting ready to purchase SQL Server 2005. What we are wondering is, what type of license do we need? I am the only one who will be accessing the SQL Server directly via SQL Server Manager, and the CF server will be accessing it as well. The server is a dual processor server. So do we need to dual processor license or a per seat license? I am guessing that if we go per-seat, that we will not be able to take advantage of the dual processors. Is this correct?
