"Ahhh....OK....now I see the dilema. It comes down to the fact that you want 2 different levels of aggregation: 1) all records in a date range 2) all unique combos of 3 fields in a date range
So this will have to be 2 queries unless you want to go uber complex (and I'm not even sure that would work in the end.....one of those "have to try to find out" deals)." Thanks, that validates my feeling. I was not seeing any solution that did not get ugly fast. I wanted to make sure I was not overlooking something easy. I'll just keep my two query block solution I've already worked up while writing these e-mails.
