I agree zblog is nice but isnt addressing a lot of the stuff zopers
would be looking for....

Right, looks very nice. But my group already has a bunch of stuff in
Zope, and several people who know how to use it. There is a project
that
integrates Sqlobject into zope3 (http://codespeak.net/z3/sqlos/),
but on
brief acquaintance I really like Sqlalchemy's style.
