Thanks for that.
We also found out that it is related to using sessionmaker instead of
the deprecated create_session. Your input means we need to probably
look at transactions too.
Anyways, this seems to be a sqlalchemy issue, not elixir. I'll take it
to the sqlalchemy list as soon as I get time.
