Since it seems that you are moving towards a new release, could I pls ask you to have a look at Ticket #1047. I believe that it is a genuine bug, and an important one, due to the fact that sqlite does not Support correlated subqueries (IMHO the worst omission from the sql standard). So, code like the one shown in the Ticket, often gets written, which makes this bug a serious one..
Also, ticket #1048, although just an inconvenience, should be easily fixable.
