SQLite supports the blob datatype, but one can access a blob value only as a whole. Is support planned to partially read or write a blob value? For example in an Oracle database one can select a blob reference from a table and can then operate on this blob reference: reading or writing parts of the blob, appending to a blob ... Such a blob interface would be nice to have in SQLite.
