Then you should go ahead and give it a go. If it will only take 10
minutes you have little to lose. :-) I know that sounds like "then
submit a patch..." but it is not intended that way.
I'm not adverse to polls in general, I was just pointing out that the
results of the poll might well be disregarded. This may be may be
disconcerting to someone who comes up with an idea that everyone except
Richard likes.
