  Thanks for your replay. Can you tell me what directive you use in the 
make file in Linux to enable that.

  I am trying to reduce the memory usage of SQL. DO you have any ideas 
about how I can do that on Windows (other thank using 
SQLITE_ENABLE_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT )
