Experimenting with distributing an autoconf configure script with the amalgamation package. So that it can do the usual "./configure && make install" installation. Prototype here: http://www.sqlite.org/sqlite-3.5.4-autoconf.tar.gz Could anybody who has time to try this out post if it fails to install, fails to detect readline, fails to build shared library on your AIX system, that sort of thing.
