According to http://www.sqlite.org/cvstrac/wiki?p=SizeOfSqlite
with no optimization the maximum size should be 513 KB. The problem is that in three different cases on three different Linux distributions, which are Fedora 7.0, Debian and ubuntu the size is usually 1.3 MB. Does any body know why this is the case?
