You missed the point, Simon. Without SQL and SQLite Pronab will have to implement his own platform-independent file format which is much more work than just start using SQLite and use SQL. In this case using SQL will indeed be simpler than without it. To Pronab: if you're not familiar with SQL and SQL-based database concepts learn them first. After that you just need to understand how those concepts are applicable to SQLite and start using it.
