Thanks for the response. I dont have any other statements, as this was the first I was trying to create. I am using SQLite Maestro as my editor. Do you think that it could be an issue with the application?... If I add an extra ';' then the error is: SQL Error: near ";": syntax error... this is all on one line unlike the error that I am getting.... surely it can't be upset about carriage return/line feed etc.
