Sorry, I find your question unclear. Are you asking for circumstances where a 'BEGIN' could issue an error message ? Or for circumstances where a 'BEGIN' could do nothing but report no error ? Or for circumstances where a command like 'UPDATE' which should automatically do a BEGIN somehow fails to do a BEGIN ?
