The first is a syntax error and the second is an example of a dubious use
of a number as a identifier.

Perhaps you meant to as about the difference between "?" and "?nnn"?  In
that case, no, there is no real difference other than the obvious fact that
the parameter number is explicitly assigned in the second case and is
automatically assigned the next available slot in the second.
