Take a look at the Controllable Regex Mutilator, CRM114, <http://crm114.sourceforge.net>. It has mechanisms for detecting missing letters, extra letters, changed letters, etc. You'll likely find what you're looking for there or at least get some good ideas from it. (One of its purposes is a spam filter, and it's the best at that of anything I've found!) Derrell
