The page suggests that INDEXED BY can only be used in single-table queries. The report queries also join other smaller tables, some of them from an attached database, so I don't think this will work. However, you have given me an idea - maybe I could break it down to two queries. Use the INDEX BY on the big table to get a subset table, and do another SELECT on the subset. Thanks.
