Not necessary. I noticed that CTE was just merged to SQLite's trunk,
so it apparently will be part of SQLite 2.8.3.
I'm not familiar with CTE, I didn't try it yet, just had a quick
glance at the code. I'm wondering if there isn't a #define
missing here (see patch below):
