I've tried the nested version but alas, I've got a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: java/util/Collections. Too bad. The same program started with CrEme 4 which is java 1.3 but this version of the vm has some bugs which makes it unusable for us. I got an java.sql.SQLException: out of memory in creme 4 but I guess tthis could be the database file. BTW: we managed to sort out the problems we had with HSQLDB so it seems we will stick with this solution for now. But SQLite is clearly a very good contender somewhere down the line.
