At the request of Matt Casters, the ETL guru of the open-source BI company Pentaho, I've opened a request (http://forums.pentaho.org/showthread.php?p=150924#post150924) for the inclusion of SQLite support in their ETL tool Kettle.
I did a quick proof of concept thanks to the marvellous pure Java SQLiteJDBC driver and it worked, so hopefully we'll see SQLite as a Kettle pre-configured option in the future.
