When you were away I reported several problems including this one. Usually with a problem I try to provide a solution (not a patch though). Those reports are obviously still in a group's archive. I'v got also sources with those problems corrected (and some others that bothered me, but I think aren't bugs), but it won't work with original SQLite (I work with customized version). But if you find it usefull I may publish it (actually I' not sure yet if I'm allowed, but I don't think it will be a problem).
