No, I cannot recover your data. I would like to find out how it got
corrupted and make sure it does not happen again.

You can call conn.getMetaData().getDriverVersion() to work out if you
are running the pure java driver or the native driver.

If you can reproduce the corruption, I can fix it. Otherwise, the best
I can do is poke around and guess.
