O erro que retorna do banco � o seguinte:
"An untyped variable in the PREPARE statement 'Q1' is being resolved to a TEXT or IMAGE type. "
Fazemos a chamada com o SqlPrepareAndExecute, o insert � bem simples,
apenas tres campos, dentre eles um long string. as informa��es s�o
passadas de campos da tela, e n�o de um Select executado anteriormente.
N�o � uma procedure. � um insert normal.
se tiver alguma dica, n�s agradacemos!!!

� um Insert ou uma Stored Procedure? No caso de Procedure, ela funciona
corretamente se chamada diretamente no Sybase (via ISQL ou SQL Advantage)?

Na inser��o em uma tabela com campo do tipo text, e a variavel
centura do tipo long string, o banco sybase est� retornando um
erro.
Algu�m j� passou por isso? existe alguma fun��o (do banco ou do
centura) que deve ser chamada antes do insert?
Desde j� agrade�o a ajuda.
